You may not listen to her music, but you got to hand it to Lady Gaga for being so highly creative, confident and unique. It's refreshing to see someone break from the crowd and develop a totally unique style so early in her career all the while writing her own songs. Her hard work, bold risk-taking and natural talent are quite remarkable.

Some find her work controversial, but Jill Greenberg's work is so amazing and stunning. Her ability to capture emotion, humor and create beautiful lighting are captivating. She has a new book out, Bear Portraits, a follow up to Monkey Portraits.

If you are ever in New York, you must try my favorite restaurant, Balthazar. They offer yummy french delights in a wonderful bistro atmosphere in a space used to be a leather wholesaler's warehouse. I recommend the warm goat cheese and caramelized onion tart, delish!

Milk Fed is a cool Japanese line started by Walrus Studio idol Sofia Coppola. I'm not sure if she still designs for the line, but their new collection is satisfying my obsession for all things nautical. They have all sorts of great goodies, such as cool-again hair scrunchies and bleached denim vests fit for a true harajuku princess. Oh, how I want to go to Japan!!
